Chennai International Film Festival’s monthly edition – MosFilm Festival kicks off this week in Chennai!
CMosfilm, one of Russia’s oldest and most renowned movie studios, celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the Chennai International Film Festival, in association with the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, is hosting a 3-day Mosfilm Festival in Chennai. All films have English subtitles, and entry is free.
Venue: AVM Auditorium, Avichi College of Arts and Science, No.130A, Arcot Rd, Virugambakkam, Chennai.
The Mosfilm Festival will be inaugurated on September 27 at 3:00 PM at AVM Auditorium, Avichi College of Arts and Science, with His Excellency Valery Khodzhaev, Consul General of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Alexander Dodonov, Vice Consul and Director of Russian House in Chennai, as distinguished guests. This festival honors Mosfilm’s cinematic legacy and provides audiences with a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate Russian culture through its films.
